The pictures you all want to see!!! Giza, Egypt…enjoy! This was my third time to the pyramids and the first time I actually got to see them. The first time I got sick and threw up (it’s actually kind of a funny story) and the second time was with a class trip. So, here are the pics from the last time I went, the day before I left Cairo!

Again, the Great Pyramid of Kufu.
The pyrmid is of Kufu is the oldest and largest pyramid built.
Here I am with the pyramid of Kufu built in 2560 B.C.
There were guards at the pyramid of Kufu for two reasons. Mointoring who goes in since you have to pay extra for that, and also making sure people don’t climb on or destroy the pyramids.

The Pyramid of Kharfre–I went into this one.
Here I am in from of the pyramid of Khafre, which I went into. It was dark, and to some people, claustrophobic.
They build the pyramids so that whoever enters it must be hunched over, as if bowing down at the pharoah’s feet.

Aw, cute camel. Don’t really know why he’s got the muzzle.
For the Pyramids and Light show. I never saw it up close in personal. But I did see it from a distance when I went horseback riding in the desert.

They were quite a distance from where we were so we ended up hitching a ride. I actually wanted to walk there so we’d have more time, but I don’t think anyone else did so I didn’t bother suggesting it. Anyways, it was a fun little ride.
This is a scenic view that we got after we went up on the horse carriage ride. It was cool because you could see all three pyramids at once. AMAZING.
