Luxor/Aswan

16This is me at the Valley of Kings in Luxor. We flew there around 5 a.m.-ish. All I remember is having a terrible headache, my ears were popping the entire ride and I was SO tired, but it was well worth it. This was during a 10 day break we had for Eid-al-Adha when I thought I was going to Saudi Arabia. That didn’t work out for me, but I was luck to have friends that convinced me to go to Luxor/Aswan with them! It was a great time.

1-vallley-of-kings1Again this isĀ  the Valley of the Kings (Wadi el-Muluk) where the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom had their tombs built. Simply amazing.

26One of the amazing things about these tempes were that they contained the original colors from thousands of years ago!
